Beef Baron
5019 Centre St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3N6 905-356-6110
Description: CLIFTON HILL. Rich colors, polished woodwork and voluminous space give credence to Beef Baron's name and the cuisine is also suited to an aristocrat. But three distinct rooms and an additional upstairs dining area make it a place well-suited for families, too. On the menu, steak and seafood reign and prime rib is a well-deserved signature. Chicken, veal, lamb and pastas expand the options. Take advantage of the dinner special, which offers a choice of appetizer, salad, entree and dessert (with bread, vegetables and potato) for an affordable price.

Remington's of Niagara
5657 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3L5 905-356-4410
Description: CLIFTON HILL. With its Western-styled interior, including a series of Remington sculptures from which the restaurant takes its name, there's no mistaking that beef is prominent here. More sophisticated than your average steak house, though, Remington's capitalizes on local ingredients and scouts out other premium items worldwide. If red meat isn't to your fancy, you can also select from a variety of seafood dishes. Convenient to the Falls and to downtown. NB They also have singing servers!

The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
6700 Fallsview Blvd, Embassy Suites Hotel, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3L7 905-374-5170
Description: FALLSVIEW. Affordable, casual, ideal for families and comes with a heaping helping of a great view of the Falls. This easy-going restaurant is perfect for spur-of-the-moment dining or when you want good, reliable fare. Reservations can now be made online, but are not necessary. Well-seasoned steaks (including juicy prime rib, grilled sirloin and pepper bacon-wrapped filet mignon) are the real draw, although seafood, pasta, chicken and ribs get high marks too. For dessert, consider warm apple crumble or the flashier mile-high chocolate cake.
